We need you, Adult Opportunities at the 4th

21 May 2016
Everyone has something to offer as far as supporting Scouting is concerned, whatever your age or ability, and there are lots of ways to get involved:

Providing expertise
Help manage short projects, organise events, design our group website, help with recruitment, marketing and publicity, help with adult training, manage a volunteer team.
Becoming a regular volunteer
Work with a small leadership team on a weekly basis, bi-weekly, once a month or as it suits you to help plan and deliver an exciting programme for our members.
Provide Active Support
‘Active support’ means helping out when needed. It could be as a Badge Examiner for young people, a Training Adviser to new leaders, catering for events or camps, running pioneering projects, helping with transport, assisting with hill walking, rock climbing or anything else that would support Scouting.
Helping to manage the Scout Group
If you would like to help out but don’t have the time to be a leader or helper then our Group Executive Committee is a great way of helping with minimal time
commitment. Although the ‘executive’ bit in our committee’s title makes it sound very formal, it is actually not like that at all! Our committee is made up of people just like you!
